I start and
never finish.
I begin
again and again without completing the journey.
I ask myself
why.
My conclusion
is that I am addicted to contrast.
The fresh excitement
of a new idea is captivating like sparks in the dark.
Yet I never
spend the time to nurture these sparks to grow into burning suns.
Instead they
fade and die as I grasp a new one.
Wouldn’t it
be better to tend to a spark until it becomes a self-sufficient sun that gives
off warmth for me to enjoy the rest of my life? Wouldn’t it be better than
wandering through cold darkness with a small spark?
It’s a long
road through the dark while a star grows. If my spark is a good one then it
deserves to grow and shouldn’t be forsaken.
